He stressed the importance of personal safety along with the importance of actually preforming cpr on the individual. He was very thorough on demonstrating cpr as well as correcting when one preformed it wrong. I will definitely be coming back for other trainings.

5 starsWhat I have taken away from this class.Be aware… when will it happen. Not that if…it will happen.Communication is important. Express whatever I am doing and whatever I plan to do with the individual I am helping. With patients and with others around.Remember to practice over various steps of the training to stay refreshed.Thank you for the great training.

Logan was very informative and was truly passionate about making us feel confident in case of an emergency. We discussed not only the big details of first aid but even small things such as keeping an open line of communication while caring for a patient. I would definitely recommend him to any person or business.

Training and the real deal is different and the same, as everyone knows. Similarly, an online course and an in-person course and similar, yet vastly different.Today I was shown that in earnest. Our instructor today not only had great energy despite a whole day of teaching, he showed us things that the online course skimped over, he taught us personal safety before saving someone else. He taught us new techniques, and even though we were wrong about a LOT of questions, he clarified and explained everything. If everybody had a teacher like this, just once in their lives, who knows what the world would be like now. To my instructor today, I wish all of the world for you, not only for the passion you have for saving people, but also the dedication, the compassion, and the patience.Thank you for today, and god bless you

This was the first time I had an instructor that was hands on in his training with everyone. He made sure we were all doing it the right way. He also taught us a few new things and how to think in different situations to always be prepared and ready. I say this was the best CPR class I have ever been apart of.

This has to be one of the best classes I have took so far involving CPR. The instructor was knowledgeable and engaging, making the learning process both informative and enjoyable. The hands-on practice sessions were particularly beneficial, allowing you to feel confident in your ability to perform CPR effectively if ever needed. Overall, it was a worthwhile investment of my time, equipping me with valuable life-saving skills.

Training Program Overview

Escape:

In an active shooter situation, the first objective is to flee the danger zone if feasible. At 141 Protection Training, we prioritize immediate scenario analysis. Trainees learn to recognize exits, move silently and quickly, and make sound judgments to guide others to safety. We also teach risk-reduction methods, such as assisting coworkers or youngsters and avoiding frequent blunders that might impede escape. Our training emphasizes remaining cool under pressure, allowing participants to react quickly and confidently in potentially risky circumstances.

Barricade:

When fleeing is not an option, barricading in a safe spot becomes important. Our training teaches participants to identify safe spaces, such as those with sturdy doors and little visibility. We explain how to reinforce doors and use accessible things to prevent entry. We also discuss noise reduction measures such as silencing phones and being silent. Barricading is more than just shutting a door; it is constructing a bastion that buys valuable time until aid comes. Our hands-on training assures that participants can turn any place into a safe zone in an emergency.

Defend:

If escaping or barricading is not a possibility, you must protect yourself. 141 Protection Training prepares individuals to address active shooter scenarios. Our training emphasizes self-defense skills that negate the threat while minimizing injuries. Trainees learn to employ improvised weapons, create distractions, and collaborate to overcome aggressors. We also review how to exploit holes in an attacker's position and promptly and assertively reply. This training equips people to defend themselves and others in life-threatening circumstances.

More About Active Shooter Training

Practical training scenarios to improve critical response actions

Practical Case Studies:

Our active shooter training includes realistic scenarios, allowing participants to test their abilities under simulated assault conditions. These activities combine classroom education with hands-on practice, giving participants a complete grasp of how to flee, barricade, or defend effectively.

Fully Focused Simulations:

Live role-playing is an essential component of our teaching. Participants participate in situations in which actors portray shooters and victims, immersing them in the turmoil of an active shooter situation. This event helps trainees to practice making quick judgments under duress. Role-playing helps players improve their capacity to remain cool, direct others to safety, and respond to gunshots. These immersive simulations have a long-term influence, increasing preparation for real-world situations.

Emergency Drills:

Evacuation is critical during an active shooter situation. Our instruction includes assessing your surroundings, locating exits, and rehearsing evacuation strategies. Trainees learn how to lead coworkers, pupils, or family members through safe escape routes, using covert approaches as needed. Repeated drills increase confidence in making rapid, composed judgments in an emergency.

Defense Strategies and Barricade:

141 Protection Training focuses on effective barricades and defensive measures during active shooter scenarios. Participants learn how to protect areas by strengthening doors, blocking entryways with furniture, and working collaboratively to improve safety. Practical training with improvised defense tools prepares trainers for last-resort circumstances. We also go over how to hide in high-risk situations to increase your chances of survival.
