He stressed the importance of personal safety along with the importance of actually preforming cpr on the individual. He was very thorough on demonstrating cpr as well as correcting when one preformed it wrong. I will definitely be coming back for other trainings.

5 starsWhat I have taken away from this class.Be aware… when will it happen. Not that if…it will happen.Communication is important. Express whatever I am doing and whatever I plan to do with the individual I am helping. With patients and with others around.Remember to practice over various steps of the training to stay refreshed.Thank you for the great training.

Logan was very informative and was truly passionate about making us feel confident in case of an emergency. We discussed not only the big details of first aid but even small things such as keeping an open line of communication while caring for a patient. I would definitely recommend him to any person or business.

Training and the real deal is different and the same, as everyone knows. Similarly, an online course and an in-person course and similar, yet vastly different.Today I was shown that in earnest. Our instructor today not only had great energy despite a whole day of teaching, he showed us things that the online course skimped over, he taught us personal safety before saving someone else. He taught us new techniques, and even though we were wrong about a LOT of questions, he clarified and explained everything. If everybody had a teacher like this, just once in their lives, who knows what the world would be like now. To my instructor today, I wish all of the world for you, not only for the passion you have for saving people, but also the dedication, the compassion, and the patience.Thank you for today, and god bless you

This was the first time I had an instructor that was hands on in his training with everyone. He made sure we were all doing it the right way. He also taught us a few new things and how to think in different situations to always be prepared and ready. I say this was the best CPR class I have ever been apart of.

This has to be one of the best classes I have took so far involving CPR. The instructor was knowledgeable and engaging, making the learning process both informative and enjoyable. The hands-on practice sessions were particularly beneficial, allowing you to feel confident in your ability to perform CPR effectively if ever needed. Overall, it was a worthwhile investment of my time, equipping me with valuable life-saving skills.

Training Program Overview

Escape:

The first objective of an active shooter is to flee the danger zone if feasible. At 141 Protection Training, we emphasize the need of immediate scenario analysis. Trainees learn to detect exits, move quickly and silently, and make educated judgments to get people to safety. We review risk-reduction techniques, such as supporting youngsters or coworkers, and preventing typical blunders that might escape difficult. Our program teaches participants to remain cool under pressure, allowing them to react quickly and confidently in life-threatening circumstances.

Barricade:

When escape is not an option, barricading yourself in a safe location becomes critical. Our training focuses on selecting secure areas with solid doors and little visibility. We educate people on strengthening doors and using accessible materials to keep intruders out. There is also discussion of noise reduction measures, such as silencing phones and remaining silent. Barricading is more than just closing a door; it is about constructing a protected area that buys vital time until aid arrives. Our hands-on training assures that participants can transform any site into a safe zone during an emergency.

Defend:

When escape or barricading is impossible, defending becomes the last option. 141 Protection Training provides learners with skills and tactics for dealing with an active shooter incident. Our training focuses on self-defense techniques that negate the threat while minimizing injury. Participants learn how to employ improvised weapons, create distractions, and collaborate to take down an assailant. We also educate how to exploit flaws in an assailant's stance and respond quickly and forcefully. This program equips individuals to protect themselves and others in life-threatening situations.

More About Active Shooter Training

Realistic scenario-based drills to enhance response skills

Experiments Based on Real Life:

Our active shooter training offers realistic situations where trainees may test their abilities in simulated time-sensitive attacks. These activities blend classroom instruction with practical application to provide a thorough grasp of how to flee, barricade, or defend efficiently.

Fully involved Simulation:

Live role-playing is an essential component of our training curriculum. Participants engage in situations in which actors portray both shooters and victims, immersing them in the turmoil of an active shooter situation. This event allows participants to practice making split-second judgments under intense pressure. Role-playing improves the capacity to maintain composure, guide people to safety, and respond to gunfire successfully. These immersive simulations have a lasting effect, helping you prepare for real-world crises.

Emergency Evacuation Training:

It is vital to evacuate safely when dealing with an active shooter. Our course studies the surroundings, locating exits, and practicing evacuation tactics. Participants learn how to help coworkers, students, or family members via safe escape routes, utilizing covert approaches as needed. Repeated training boosts confidence in making rapid, calm judgments during an event.

Barricade and Defense Strategies:

141 Protection Training focuses on effective barricading and defensive methods in active shooter scenarios. Participants learn how to protect areas by strengthening doors, blocking entryways with furniture, and collaborating to improve safety. Training in improvised defense tools prepares participants for situations of last resort. We also teach concealing techniques to boost the chances of surviving in difficult circumstances.
