I have taken several CPR classes over the years. I have never had one taught on the level that this one was taught. The instructor was top notch and knew his stuff! He added reason & personal experience to make the class interesting & help to remember why we do things.I highly recommend him & I'm thankful that I left with more knowledge & confidence than I came in with.

My husband and I took the class together. We talked about how much we learned and the way Logan taught the class was carefully planned and well put together. My biggest take away is to make sure to do a proper risk assessment before stepping in to assist someone else. If the scene isn't safe and I'm not safe, I can not properly help someone else. He was very passionate about what he is doing and has the desire to see people well trained and confident. Nothing negative to say. Thank you Logan!

He stressed the importance of personal safety along with the importance of actually preforming cpr on the individual. He was very thorough on demonstrating cpr as well as correcting when one preformed it wrong. I will definitely be coming back for other trainings.

Training and the real deal is different and the same, as everyone knows. Similarly, an online course and an in-person course and similar, yet vastly different.Today I was shown that in earnest. Our instructor today not only had great energy despite a whole day of teaching, he showed us things that the online course skimped over, he taught us personal safety before saving someone else. He taught us new techniques, and even though we were wrong about a LOT of questions, he clarified and explained everything. If everybody had a teacher like this, just once in their lives, who knows what the world would be like now. To my instructor today, I wish all of the world for you, not only for the passion you have for saving people, but also the dedication, the compassion, and the patience.Thank you for today, and god bless you

This was the first time I had an instructor that was hands on in his training with everyone. He made sure we were all doing it the right way. He also taught us a few new things and how to think in different situations to always be prepared and ready. I say this was the best CPR class I have ever been apart of.

The hands-on practice sessions were particularly beneficial, allowing you to feel confident in your ability to perform CPR effectively if ever needed. Overall, it was a worthwhile investment of my time, equipping me with valuable life-saving skills.

Training Program Overview

Escape:

If it is safe, fleeing the danger zone comes first in an active shooter scenario. At 141 Protection Training, we stress the need for situational awareness and fast surrounding evaluation. Participants pick up the ability to find exits, move quickly and silently, and make calculated judgments to avoid the gunman. We also teach people how to lead other colleagues or children and lower risk safely. Training teaches participants to keep cool, flee, and avoid frequent mistakes. This initial level of protection helps people to respond fast and deliberately.

Barricade:

Should escape prove elusive, barricading oneself in a safe area follows next. At 141 Protection Training, participants learn to spot safe places, such as rooms with sturdy doors and few windows. We show how to keep the intruder out by reinforcing doors with materials at hand. We stress silencing phones and other noise-producing gadgets. A barrier reinforces your area to buy time until law enforcement shows up, not only about closing doors. Through hands-on activities, participants acquire the abilities and confidence to convert ordinary environments into protected areas, optimizing survival opportunities.

Defend:

When escape and barricade are not possibilities, self-defense becomes a last recourse. Our training at 141 Protection Training gets students ready for the likelihood of direct gun combat. Participants learn distraction strategies, operate makeshift weapons, and cooperate to incapacitate the aggressor and reduce damage. Participants learn to spot flaws in the shooter's actions and, when necessary, react forcefully and precisely. Our "defend" philosophy gives members the bravery and tools to guard others and themselves through life-threatening events.

141 Protection Training is Jacksonville, Arkansas’ top Active Shooter training company, providing real-world safety solutions for people, schools, organizations, and governmental institutions. We teach our trainees to handle high-pressure circumstances with confidence, accuracy, and resilience to ensure safety. Our realistic, scenario-based exercises simulate the complexity and unpredictability of real situations. We train participants in realistic simulations to create muscle memory and rapid decision-making in dangerous situations. Our courses teach crucial skills, from escape and barricading to last-resort defence. We educate participants on how to stay calm, cooperate, and work with law enforcement during and after active shooter events. Participants learn life-saving techniques and dare to act quickly and forcefully in the unimaginable.

about us

More About Active Shooter Training

Scenario-driven training to improve emergency handling techniques

Real-World Exercises:

At 141 Protection Training, we specialize in scenario-based active shooter simulations that mimic actual attacks. Our workouts occur in offices, hospitals, and schools, among other places. These drills force students to use their acquired abilities under demanding circumstances. The immersive method guides participants in making fast, well-informed decisions on escape, barricading, or self-defense. Through the controlled environment experience of similar situations, participants develop muscle memory for handling real-world emergencies.

Simulation and Role-Playing:

Our Active Shooter instruction mostly relies on live simulation and role-playing. Participants must answer to "gunmen" and other role-players as we submerge them in real-time active shooter scenarios. These drills force participants to think fast and replicate the tension and uncertainty of a genuine attack. Trainees pick up life-saving judgments fast, gun recognition, and motion analysis of the shooter. While educating participants about these circumstances' psychological and emotional hardships, role-playing lets them practice escape, barricade, and defensive techniques.

Secure Escape practice:

A vital component of our Active Shooter instruction is evacuation exercises. Participants in 141 Protection Training learn the fastest and safest methods of leaving a building or location under attack. These drills help people to spot safe exits, evaluate their surroundings, and use a sensible evacuation strategy. Participants also learn how to lead family members, classmates, or colleagues to safety without losing control or clarity. Frequent practice increases confidence and sharpens the capacity to leave quickly, therefore greatly lowering the harm risks in an active shooter event.

Barricading:

Participants in our Active Shooter course learn how to protect an area and, if needed, defend themselves via practical drills. Participants work as a team to guard the group, practice strengthening doors, and block accessways with furniture. Using accessible materials and coordinated plans to resist attackers, our defense drills teach people last-resort techniques. These exercises guarantee participants' ability to conceal well, increasing their chances of survival.

Why You Should Consider 141 Protection Training?

Situational Awareness:

The Active Shooter training from 141 Protection Training mainly develops situational awareness. Trainees learn skills in environment assessment, identifying threats, and recognizing risky conduct. This increased awareness helps participants predict and react to active shooter events before they occur. Developing this ability benefits in crises and improves awareness in daily life, preparing people for any unanticipated occurrence.

Confidence in Crisis Response:

Utilizing realistic drills and hands-on activities, our Active Shooter program builds participants' confidence to react coolly and forcefully under great stress. Experience hands-on helps one develop this awareness, which helps to lower anxiety and uncertainty, enabling people to move quickly when every second matters. During a crisis, one's confidence in their capacity to manage it makes a big difference; our trainees leave knowing they can remain calm and guard themselves and others.

Methodologies of Survival:

Our Active Shooter program's main objective is to impart useful survival techniques. Participants acquire the skills required to survive an active shooter, from spotting escape routes to barricading a room and becoming ready for self-defense. Our practical approach guarantees that trainees can implement these methods boldly and successfully in real-world circumstances, raising their chances of survival.

Cooperation among law enforcement:

Our active shooter training also stresses the need to work with law enforcement. Participants learn clear, correct information, how to follow directions, and how to convey the shooter's position and behavior. Knowing how to engage with first responders guarantees personal safety and improves the whole response, enabling faster and safer resolution for the problem.

Authority to Shield:

One of the most empowering aspects of the Active Shooter course that 141 Protection Training offers is the ability to save people in a crisis. By teaching collaboration and leadership, participants may help others get to safety. Trainees depart knowing and confident enough to be leaders in an emergency, whether at home, business, or school.

Resistance to Stress:

Key elements of our instruction include mental resilience and stress management. We equip people for the mental and physical toll an active shooter will take. Emergency preparedness requires psychological preparation and practical drills. This resiliency supports emotional healing following a crisis as well as during one.
