I have taken several CPR classes over the years. I have never had one taught on the level that this one was taught. The instructor was top notch and knew his stuff! He added reason & personal experience to make the class interesting & help to remember why we do things.I highly recommend him & I'm thankful that I left with more knowledge & confidence than I came in with.

My husband and I took the class together. We talked about how much we learned and the way Logan taught the class was carefully planned and well put together. My biggest take away is to make sure to do a proper risk assessment before stepping in to assist someone else. If the scene isn't safe and I'm not safe, I can not properly help someone else. He was very passionate about what he is doing and has the desire to see people well trained and confident. Nothing negative to say. Thank you Logan!

He stressed the importance of personal safety along with the importance of actually preforming cpr on the individual. He was very thorough on demonstrating cpr as well as correcting when one preformed it wrong. I will definitely be coming back for other trainings.

5 starsWhat I have taken away from this class.Be aware… when will it happen. Not that if…it will happen.Communication is important. Express whatever I am doing and whatever I plan to do with the individual I am helping. With patients and with others around.Remember to practice over various steps of the training to stay refreshed.Thank you for the great training.

Training and the real deal is different and the same, as everyone knows. Similarly, an online course and an in-person course and similar, yet vastly different.Today I was shown that in earnest. Our instructor today not only had great energy despite a whole day of teaching, he showed us things that the online course skimped over, he taught us personal safety before saving someone else. He taught us new techniques, and even though we were wrong about a LOT of questions, he clarified and explained everything. If everybody had a teacher like this, just once in their lives, who knows what the world would be like now. To my instructor today, I wish all of the world for you, not only for the passion you have for saving people, but also the dedication, the compassion, and the patience.Thank you for today, and god bless you

This was the first time I had an instructor that was hands on in his training with everyone. He made sure we were all doing it the right way. He also taught us a few new things and how to think in different situations to always be prepared and ready. I say this was the best CPR class I have ever been apart of.

This has to be one of the best classes I have took so far involving CPR. The instructor was knowledgeable and engaging, making the learning process both informative and enjoyable. The hands-on practice sessions were particularly beneficial, allowing you to feel confident in your ability to perform CPR effectively if ever needed. Overall, it was a worthwhile investment of my time, equipping me with valuable life-saving skills.

Training Program Overview

Escape:

If it is safe, the primary goal in an active shooter situation should be to get out of the danger zone. At 141 Protection Training, we emphasize the significance of rapidly analyzing your surroundings. Participants learn to identify exits, move quickly and silently, avoid danger, and make educated decisions. We discuss ways to guide people to safety while limiting danger, such as aiding youngsters or coworkers. Our training also emphasizes being cool under fire and avoiding typical blunders that might impede an escape. Teaching these essential skills enables participants to respond swiftly and confidently in high-pressure circumstances.

Barricade:

When fleeing is not an option, barricading yourself in a safe spot becomes necessary. At 141 Protection Training, we educate participants on recognizing safe zones, such as rooms with heavy doors and little view. We teach how to strengthen doors and use accessible materials to prevent infiltration. The training also covers noise-reduction measures such as phone silence and being silent. Barricading is more than simply closing a door; it is about establishing a fortified zone that buys precious time until law enforcement comes. Hands-on practice gives learners the confidence to change any area into a haven in an emergency.

Defend:

When flight and barricades are not an option, self-defense is the final alternative. 141 Protection Training gives the necessary tools and tactics for dealing with an active shooter. We concentrate on self-defense techniques that can eliminate threats while minimizing injury. Participants learn to employ improvised weapons, create distractions, and collaborate to defeat an assailant. We also educate shooters on identifying flaws in their position and strike fast and aggressively. The training prepares students to protect themselves and others in life-threatening circumstances.

More About Active Shooter Training

Active Shooter Training Highlights

Case Presentations in Real-World Practice:

141 Protection Training's active shooter training includes realistic scenarios. These drills allow participants to put their skills to the test under the rigorous time restrictions of a real-life attack. These practical activities provide trainees with a complete understanding of how to flee, barricade, or protect oneself, connecting classroom information to real-world applications.

Role-playing and live simulation:

Our training largely relies on live role-playing activities. Participants take part in situations with actors portraying both shooters and victims. This simulation immerses participants in the turmoil and horror of an active shooter scenario, allowing them to practice making split-second decisions under tremendous pressure. Role-playing helps people better grasp how to respond to gunshots, guide others to safety, and remain cool under pressure. The intensity and unpredictability of these exercises result in long-lasting lessons.

Emergency Evacuation Steps:

Evacuating the location safely is important to react to an active shooter situation. 141 Protection Training teaches individuals to analyze their surroundings, find available exits, and practice evacuation strategies. These exercises focus on coaching coworkers, students, and family members through safe escape options, including covert evacuation techniques. Repeated practice helps individuals gain confidence in reacting promptly and calmly during an event.

Defense and Barricading:

141 Protection Training focuses on effective barricading and defensive measures during active shooter scenarios. Participants learn how to protect space by strengthening doors, blocking entryways using available furniture, and working together to increase safety. Participants benefit from hands-on instruction in defensive methods, including improvised tools, to better prepare for last-resort situations. Our realistic simulations teach participants how to disguise themselves and improve their chances of survival.
