The 141 Protection CPR/AED training was one that people can remember. The instructor brought the course to life with a realistic truth that many instructor lack today. I would recommend him to anyone that is thinking about taking any of these courses in the future. I can honestly say he love and believe in what he does.

I recently took a CPR class and it was absolutely outstanding! The instructor was knowledgeable, patient, and made the material easy to understand, even for first-timers like me. The hands-on practice with high-quality mannequins and real-life scenarios gave me the confidence I needed to respond in an emergency. Everything was well-organized and engaging from start to finish. I walked away feeling empowered and prepared, this class is a must for anyone wanting to make a difference in a critical moment.

I learnt a lot that at this CPR Training that I would not be taught at other sessions such as using all senses to assess the risk of the situation, state your intents and actions out loud and to get specific names when assigning responsibilities such as calling 911 and retrieving the AED in order to get a detailed report of the situation and ensure roles are given out clearly. I really enjoyed the style of training and lessons given by the instructor.
This was one of the best Training /certifications I have attended and I have attended many in my time. Mr. Lee provides a detailed and more realistic approach to the training. I will definitely attend again. 1000 stars for his teaching methods.

Instructor was very knowledgeable and provided a great experience during this class. I learned things I have not in previous classes like how important it is to verbalize what you are doing for the patient and others around you and how to assess for scene safety in depth. Experience was amazing because of how good the Instructor was at engaging the class and providing new fresh information on the subject.

Logan is a fabulous instructor. There are aspects of CPR he emphasizes that are only given lip service in other training classes. For example, before you render care make sure YOU are safe! You can’t render aide if you blindly walk into a situation unaware of life-threatening things that may be present.

My husband and I took the class together. We talked about how much we learned and the way Logan taught the class was carefully planned and well put together. My biggest take away is to make sure to do a proper risk assessment before stepping in to assist someone else. If the scene isn't safe and I'm not safe, I can not properly help someone else. He was very passionate about what he is doing and has the desire to see people well trained and confident. Nothing negative to say. Thank you Logan!

Training and the real deal is different and the same, as everyone knows. Similarly, an online course and an in-person course and similar, yet vastly different.

Today I was shown that in earnest. Our instructor today not only had great energy despite a whole day of teaching, he showed us things that the online course skimped over, he taught us personal safety before saving someone else. He taught us new techniques, and even though we were wrong about a LOT of questions, he clarified and explained everything.

If everybody had a teacher like this, just once in their lives, who knows what the world would be like now. To my instructor today, I wish all of the world for you, not only for the passion you have for saving people, but also the dedication, the compassion, and the patience.

Thank you for today, and god bless you

Overall, it was a worthwhile investment of my time, equipping me with valuable life-saving skills.

Training Program Overview

Escape:

When it's safe to do so, getting out of the danger zone should be your first goal in an active shooter situation. In 141 Protection Training, we stress the skill of quickly assessing one's environment. Participants learn to find exits, move quickly and quietly, stay out of danger, and make educated judgments. We discuss how to guide people to safety while reducing danger, including youngsters and coworkers. The training also covers keeping one's cool under fire and avoiding pitfalls that impede an escape. Because the first line of defense is critical, our training teaches participants how to respond swiftly and efficiently in high-pressure situations.

Barricade:

When escaping is not an option, the next best thing is to barricade oneself in a safe location. At 141 Protection Training, we educate participants on recognizing safe areas with strong doors and limited visibility, such as rooms with few or no windows. We teach participants how to reinforce doors and use available materials to restrict intrusion. In addition to barricading skills, our training emphasizes reducing noise by turning off cell phones and being silent. Barricading is more than just shutting a door; it is about establishing a fortified zone that can buy time until law enforcement arrives. Hands-on practice gives participants the confidence and skills to turn ordinary rooms into safe havens in an emergency.

Defend:

When neither flight nor barricading is possible, the only option is to defend oneself against the assailant.141 Protection Training provides trainees with the tools and methods to confront an active shooter. The focus is on self-defense tactics that eliminate threats and reduce injuries. Participants will learn to employ improvised weapons, create distractions, and work together to defeat the attacker. We will also discuss identifying flaws in the shooter's posture and acting swiftly and decisively. Individuals will learn the necessary skills and mindset to protect themselves and others in a life-or-death situation.

about us

More About Active Shooter Training

From Classroom to Crisis: Effective Active Shooter Response Training

Realistic Practice Cases:

At 141 Protection Training, we specialize in active shooter training using realistic scenarios. In these drills, participants test their abilities under the intense time constraints that characterize a real attack. To prepare for the real world, participants conduct training exercises in schools, hospitals, and corporate buildings. Through these practical exercises, trainees will thoroughly understand how to flee, barricade, or protect themselves. These exercises connect classroom learning with real-world applications and help participants develop the automatic and effective response skills necessary to handle a genuine emergency.

Live Simulations and Role-Playing:

Our active shooter training relies heavily on live role-playing exercises. Participants in 141 Protection Training engage in realistic role-playing exercises with fictitious characters portraying both attackers and victims. By simulating the chaos and fear of an active shooter situation, this technique helps teach participants to respond quickly and accurately in an emergency. People learn more about mass shootings, how to respond to gunshots, and how to make split-second judgments while they're under duress by participating in role-playing exercises. Because participants feel the intensity and unpredictability of an active shooter scenario firsthand, the training is memorable and effective due to the immersive nature of the exercises.

Emergency Procedures for Getting Out of Danger:

An essential part of responding to an active shooter is ensuring a safe and orderly evacuation. 141 Protection Training's active shooter drills teach people how to exit buildings quickly and securely. The primary goals of these exercises are to assess the surrounding area, locate accessible exits, and practice an evacuation procedure. The participants learn to lead colleagues, pupils, and family members with poise and focus. Learners practice safe escapes and covert evacuation procedures, which teach them to go through unknown places undetected. Repeatedly practicing these activities enhances confidence and survival in real-life situations.

Protecting and barricading:

At 141 Protection Training, participants engage in active shooter training emphasizing effective barricading and defense strategies. They learn how to quickly secure a location by reinforcing doors, blocking entryways with available furniture, and collaborating with others to enhance safety. Trainees practice hands-on defensive techniques using improvised tools and coordinated efforts to fend off attackers as a last resort. Through these exercises, participants develop skills to conceal themselves and significantly boost their survival odds. Our realistic scenarios at 141 Protection Training give participants the confidence and experience to handle extreme situations. This transforms everyday spaces into secure areas during emergencies.

Key Benefits of Training

Superior Knowledge:

We take great pleasure in the extensive knowledge that each instructor at 141 Protection Training brings to each class. Our instructors have years of expertise dealing with real-life emergencies, having worked in law enforcement, the military, and emergency response. We train our trainees with experts who have experience with active shooter situations. Practical, life-saving tactics grounded in the most recent research and best practices form the basis of our teaching.

Personalized Instructional Programs:

There is no "one-size-fits-all" solution to ensure the safety and security of any given environment; we are well aware of this. As a result, we can tailor our training programs to meet the specific needs of every institution. We will analyze your setting, look for weak spots, and design a training program to meet your needs.
