I have taken several CPR classes over the years. I have never had one taught on the level that this one was taught. The instructor was top notch and knew his stuff! He added reason & personal experience to make the class interesting & help to remember why we do things.I highly recommend him & I'm thankful that I left with more knowledge & confidence than I came in with.

My husband and I took the class together. We talked about how much we learned and the way Logan taught the class was carefully planned and well put together. My biggest take away is to make sure to do a proper risk assessment before stepping in to assist someone else. If the scene isn't safe and I'm not safe, I can not properly help someone else. He was very passionate about what he is doing and has the desire to see people well trained and confident. Nothing negative to say. Thank you Logan!

Training and the real deal is different and the same, as everyone knows. Similarly, an online course and an in-person course and similar, yet vastly different.Today I was shown that in earnest. Our instructor today not only had great energy despite a whole day of teaching, he showed us things that the online course skimped over, he taught us personal safety before saving someone else. He taught us new techniques, and even though we were wrong about a LOT of questions, he clarified and explained everything. If everybody had a teacher like this, just once in their lives, who knows what the world would be like now. To my instructor today, I wish all of the world for you, not only for the passion you have for saving people, but also the dedication, the compassion, and the patience.Thank you for today, and god bless you

This was the first time I had an instructor that was hands on in his training with everyone. He made sure we were all doing it the right way. He also taught us a few new things and how to think in different situations to always be prepared and ready. I say this was the best CPR class I have ever been apart of.

Training Program Overview

Escape:

Escaping safely, if at all feasible, always comes first in an active shooter scenario. At 141 Protection Training, we stress the need for situational awareness and quick surroundings analysis. Participants learn skills in spotting exits, quick and covert movement, and wise decision-making to evade the gunman. We offer direction on how to help colleagues, children, or others while lowering risk. Our training helps participants stay cool under pressure, evacuate efficiently, and avoid common mistakes. It helps students respond forcefully and effectively in risky circumstances.

Barricade:

If escape proves unavailable, barricading oneself in a safe area becomes vital. The trainees focus on safe areas within a structure with strong doors and few windows. 141 Protection Training shows how to prevent an attacker from entering these places using readily available tools. The course also addresses optimum techniques for turning off electronic gadgets to evade discovery. Barricading is about enhancing a location to buy time till law enforcement shows up, not only about closing doors. Our hands-on activities help participants become more confident and create temporary safe havens. This proactive approach guarantees participants' ability to hide themselves successfully, increasing their chances of survival.

Defend:

Self-defense becomes required as a final resort should neither escape nor barricading prove viable. At 141 Protection Training, we provide attendees with tested methods for facing an armed assailant in a life-or-death scenario. The instruction addresses how to operate makeshift weapons, divert the gunman, and cooperate to overwhelm the assailant. We teach trainees to spot a shooter's weaknesses and respond quickly and forcefully. These defensive skills will prepare people to face threats when no other option exists. Simulated high-stress situations provide participants with practical experience, strengthening their confidence and abilities to protect others and themselves.

More About Active Shooter Training

Life-like simulations for enhanced crisis response readiness

Practical Drills:

At 141 Protection Training, we specialize in scenario-based simulations that reflect the unpredictability and chaos of an active shooter situation. Our drills test candidates to make quick, wise judgments and apply their knowledge under duress. These immersive drills equip participants to choose whether to flee, barricade, or defend, regardless of the setting: offices, hospitals, or schools. Through controlled environment practice, people develop the muscle memory required for rapid, accurate reactions during actual situations. This practical method guarantees that participants grasp how to use their knowledge during an active shooter incident, bridging the gap between theory and reality.

Simulation and Role-Playing:

Central components of our Active Shooter instruction include live role-playing and simulation. 141 Protection Training puts participants in realistic scenarios with active shooters. These drills force trainees to react in real time and imitate an actual attack's intensity, ambiguity, and urgency. Participants pick up skills in evaluating shooter behavior, reacting to gunfire, and making split-second life-saving decisions. Simulating the unpredictable motions of attackers and the chaotic surroundings helps trainees learn better how to behave in the heat of the moment. While tackling the emotional and psychological obstacles accompanying such occurrences, this immersive, hands-on method allows participants to rehearse their escape, barricade, and defensive strategies.

Safe Escape Activities:

An integral part of our Active Shooter instruction is evacuation exercises. Participants in 141 Protection Training learn the fastest, safest methods to flee a building or location under an attack. Our exercises educate environmental evaluation, safe exit identification, and effective evacuation strategy execution. We underline the need to calmly and without losing concentration and guide others—coworkers, pupils, or family members—against danger. Participants in these drills learn how to negotiate foreign environments while hiding from the assailant and practice covert escape methods. The frequent performance of these drills guarantees that participants are ready to respond quickly, reducing risk and enhancing survival results. This helps to create confidence.

Scenarios of Barricading and Defense:

Our barricading and defense exercises provide participants with a reasonable chance to learn how to protect themselves during an active shooter incident. At 141 Protection Training, we educate people on strengthening doors, blocking access points with furniture, and working with others to generate robust defensive positions. Participants in last-resort scenarios get training in the use of makeshift tools and coordinated efforts to repel an assailant. These practical drills let people practice important strategies, like concealing successfully and aggressively improving their survival chances. Realistic simulations enable participants to gain the confidence and skills to be safe in demanding situations.

Advantages of Selecting 141 Protection Training

Situationally Awareness:

The Active Shooter training at 141 Protection Training offers one benefit: enhanced situational awareness. Participants learn to scan their surroundings, recognize danger, and identify suspicious behavior. By developing this ability, people may predict and respond more precisely to active shooter situations. Participants in our training learn to be vigilant and to identify safe spaces, exits, and barriers rapidly. This awareness improves daily alertness, helps in active shooter events, and prepares people for various crises.

Confidence in Crisis Response:

Our Active Shooter training participants walk away confident enough to manage demanding circumstances. The reasonable drills and practical simulations help people know how to react to an active shooter situation. This crisis experience enables trainees to act quickly and forcefully during time-critical situations. In an emergency, confidence in one's skills may make all the difference; it helps people defend themselves and others. Beyond active shooter scenarios, this sense of preparation permeates personal and professional life crises.

Techniques of Life-Saving:

Our Active Shooter program aims mainly to provide participants with life-saving abilities. Trainees learn the skills to survive an active shooter event, from spotting escape routes to creating strong barriers and last-resistance defense. Practical, hands-on activities reinforce these abilities, guaranteeing participants' readiness to use them in the real world. After the training, people have the information and skills to defend others and themselves, improving their survival odds. This instruction is priceless as it helps one respond forcefully under duress, saving lives.

Cooperation between law enforcement:

Learning how to work with law enforcement during and after an event is vital for our Active Shooter instruction. It teaches law enforcement officials how to communicate effectively, follow directions, and obtain crucial information. In addition, people can support law enforcement initiatives securely by preventing interference with first responders. Improving reaction times and outcomes, lowering confusion, and saving lives depend on this kind of cooperation.

Empowerment to Shield:

Providing crisis protection for others is another major advantage of our Active Shooter training. Learning how to lead groups, assist people to safety, and give clear guidance in hectic events helps participants empower others during an active shooter scenario. Our instruction stresses leadership, group projects, and the need to keep composure under duress. Equipped with these abilities, people may help balance the circumstances, guide others, and be important in saving lives. Beyond active shooter events, this sense of empowerment and obligation promotes a society of safety and readiness.

Strength Against Stress:

Additionally, our Active Shooter training emphasizes mental resilience and stress management. The difference between life and death might be keeping cool in an active shooter scenario and thinking rationally. At 141 Protection Training, we help attendees regulate their emotions, manage adrenaline, and stay focused in demanding situations. We also discuss the emotional toll these circumstances take and ensure participants are ready to handle the psychological fallout. Practicing in realistic, high-stress situations helps people develop the mental resilience required to perform appropriately during an active shooter incident, thus preparing for recovery.
