Training Program Overview

We at 141 Protection Training believe in immersive learning. Our training thoroughly approaches dental emergency response by combining theory and practice. Participants can explore real-life problems through hands-on activities rather than receiving theoretical information. We aim to cultivate the ability to think clearly under pressure, collaborate well with others, and make snap decisions. So, as you know, this is not a generic class. Dental professionals have specific demands, and we modify our training programs accordingly. Participants will leave the course with the knowledge and confidence to manage a medical emergency through performance-based outcomes. See us at 141 Protection Training and improve your crew’s medical emergency response capability. Prepare now to safeguard your patients, staff, and practice; do not wait until an emergency strikes.

Emergency

Treatment Protocol

Syncope (Fainting)

Position the patient in a supine position. Ensure proper ventilation and provide cold compresses if needed. Monitor vital signs and keep the patient calm.

Allergic Reactions

Identify symptoms promptly. If necessary, administer epinephrine and call for emergency help. Monitor vital signs and reassure the patient.

Mild Allergic Reaction

Administer antihistamine orally (if the patient can swallow it), observe for progression to severe reactions, and keep the patient calm and comfortable.

Severe Allergic Reaction

Administer epinephrine (if available and trained), call emergency services immediately, and prepare for CPR if necessary. Monitor vital signs until help arrives.

Asthma Attack

Help the patient take their quick-relief inhaler, ensure they are in a comfortable position for breathing, and monitor closely. If the condition is severe, call an emergency room.

Myocardial Infarction

Call emergency services immediately. Administer aspirin (if not contraindicated) and Nitro-Glycerin (if prescribed). Monitor and prepare for CPR if needed.

Angina Pectoris

Have the patient rest and administer sublingual Nitro-Glycerin if prescribed. If pain persists beyond a few minutes, call emergency services, as it may be a heart attack.

Hypoglycemia

Give a fast-acting carbohydrate (e.g., glucose tablet, juice), monitor symptoms, and seek medical help if no improvement occurs.

Seizure (Generalized tonic-clonic)

Protect from injury (don’t restrain), remove harmful objects, place something soft under the head, and time the seizure. If it prolongs, call an emergency room.

Cerebrovascular Accident

Use FAST protocol (Face drooping, Arm weakness, Speech difficulties, Time to call emergency services). Call emergency services immediately and monitor the patient.

Hyperventilation

Encourage slow breathing, holding each breath for a few seconds to increase CO2 levels. Comfort and calm the patient.

Obstructed Airways

Perform the Heimlich maneuver on a conscious choking adult or back blows and chest thrusts on infants. Call emergency services if obstruction does not clear.

Training and the real deal is different and the same, as everyone knows. Similarly, an online course and an in-person course and similar, yet vastly different.Today I was shown that in earnest. Our instructor today not only had great energy despite a whole day of teaching, he showed us things that the online course skimped over, he taught us personal safety before saving someone else. He taught us new techniques, and even though we were wrong about a LOT of questions, he clarified and explained everything. If everybody had a teacher like this, just once in their lives, who knows what the world would be like now. To my instructor today, I wish all of the world for you, not only for the passion you have for saving people, but also the dedication, the compassion, and the patience.Thank you for today, and god bless you

This was the first time I had an instructor that was hands on in his training with everyone. He made sure we were all doing it the right way. He also taught us a few new things and how to think in different situations to always be prepared and ready. I say this was the best CPR class I have ever been apart of.

This has to be one of the best classes I have took so far involving CPR. The instructor was knowledgeable and engaging, making the learning process both informative and enjoyable. The hands-on practice sessions were particularly beneficial, allowing you to feel confident in your ability to perform CPR effectively if ever needed. Overall, it was a worthwhile investment of my time, equipping me with valuable life-saving skills.
